Summary Levels of IP3 in the female gonadal portion of the functional hermaphrodite scallop Argopecten purpuratus were measured at different times during an induced spawning and at different times of the gonadal recovery period following this process. The IP3 content in the tissue samples was determined by a radioreceptor analysis.
