The developmental sequence ofArgulus foliaceus(Crustacea: Branchiura)
Journal of Natural History, 1994We describe and illustrate the complete development of Argulus foliaceus L. A metanauplius is followed by nine juvenile stages. Eggs were detected in the thorax of the female at the 11th stage. Comparisons are made between the development of A. foliaceus and the other freshwater species of Argulus currently found in the UK.
