On Certain Aspects of Topological Indices

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
A topological index, also known as connectivity index, is a molecular structure descriptor calculated from a molecular graph of a chemical compound which characterizes its topology.

Study of eccentricity based topological indices for benzenoid structure

open access: yesSouth African Journal of Chemical Engineering, 2023
Topological indices play paramount role in defining chemical and structural properties of different compounds. Chemical graph theory is useful for predicting the bioactivity and physicochemical properties through numerical invariants.

From Clinic to Computation: Multiscale Bioengineering Strategies for Durable Biological Aortic Valve Replacements

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bioprosthetic aortic valves have revolutionized the treatment of aortic stenosis, but their durability is limited by structural valve deterioration (SVD). This review focuses on the pericardial tissue at the heart of these valves, examining how its mechanical properties and calcification drive fatigue and failure.

Degree-Based Topological Indices of Boron B12

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2021
Topological index sometimes called molecular descriptor is a numerical value which associates a chemical composition for correlating chemical structure with numerous physical properties, chemical reactivity, or biological activity.

Understanding the Role of Superhydrophobicity and Superhydrophilicity in Salt‐Spray Corrosion of Nanosecond Pulsed Laser‐Textured AA2024 Alloy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nanosecond pulse laser texturing yields superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic AA2024 surfaces. Salt‐spray tests show that periodic superhydrophobic patterns suppress pitting, whereas superhydrophilic textures enhance it, linking laser‐induced morphology, wettability, and oxide chemistry to corrosion resistance.

Topological aspects of some dendrimer structures

open access: yesNanotechnology Reviews, 2018
A numerical number associated to the molecular graph G that describes its molecular topology is called topological index. In the study of QSAR and QSPR, topological indices such as atom-bond connectivity index, Randić connectivity index, geometric index,

Eccentricity-Based Topological Indices of a Cyclic Octahedron Structure

open access: yesMathematics, 2018
In this article, we study the chemical graph of a cyclic octahedron structure of dimension n and compute the eccentric connectivity polynomial, the eccentric connectivity index, the total eccentricity, the average eccentricity, the first Zagreb index ...

Developing a new model for ecological capability evaluation of irrigated lands in Firouzabad Township, Iran

open access: yesAestimum, 2023
Agricultural planning is a very complex task, since there are numerous goals, which should be achieved simultaneously, and various components and elements, which must be considered at the same time.

Cusps of arithmetic orbifolds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
This thesis investigates cusp cross-sections of arithmetic real, complex, and quaternionic hyperbolic $n$--orbifolds. We give a smooth classification of these submanifolds and analyze their induced geometry.

Geometric contextuality from the Maclachlan-Martin Kleinian groups

open access: yes, 2016
There are contextual sets of multiple qubits whose commutation is parametrized thanks to the coset geometry $\mathcal{G}$ of a subgroup $H$ of the two-generator free group $G=\left\langle x,y\right\rangle$.
