Sustainable Catalyst‐Free PLG Networks: Recyclability, Biodegradability, and Functional Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A catalyst‐additive free covalent adaptable network is developed from star‐shaped poly(lactide‐co‐glycolide) cross‐linked with pyromellitic dianhydride, enabling internal carboxylic acid‐driven transesterification. The resulting biodegradable network exhibits mechanical robustness (Young's modulus ≈1.6 GPa), complete recyclability, rapid biodegradation

Dual‐Site Ru Single‐Atoms and RuP Nanoclusters on N, P, and B Co‐Doped Porous Carbon for Efficient Alkaline HER and AEM Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ru single atoms and RuP nanoclusters are co‐anchored in N, P, and B co‐doped porous carbon nanospheres via in situ carbonization/phosphidation of a boronate polymer precursor. RuP activates water, while nearby Ru single atoms accelerate H2 formation through H* transfer. The catalyst delivers low overpotential and high durability in alkaline HER and AEM

Correlations among height, leg length and arm span in growing Korean children

open access: yesAnnals of Human Biology, 1995
A cross-sectional study was performed to find out if any specific correlations exist among height, leg length and arm span in growing Korean children. Height, leg length and arm span were measured in 10,322 healthy children (4740 males and 5582 females). Computed ratios of leg length to height, leg length to arm span and arm span to height for the 3rd,

Bioengineered Lymphatic Vessels in Synthetic Matrices to Study Breast Cancer Cell Functions

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Lymphatic vessels are involved in cancer metastasis. To study the interplay between metastasizing cancer cells and lymphatic vessels under highly reproducible conditions, advanced in vitro models are required. In this work, 3D lymphatic networks are formed in biomimetic hydrogels and their interactions with invasive and non‐invasive cancer cell‐lines ...

Correlation of arm-span and height in young women of two races

open access: yesAnnals of Human Biology, 1987
This paper presents the results of an anthropometric study of 55 black and 74 white females, ages 23-28 years, employed by a state agency in North Carolina. All subjects were measured for height and arm-span. Correlations of the two measures were obtained for each race independently, and differences between the two races were examined.
