A high coking-resistance catalyst for methane aromatization
Steaming-dealuminated HZSM-5-supported molybdenum catalysts have been found to be high coking-resistance catalysts for methane aromatization reactions; compared with conventional catalysts, they give a much higher selectivity towards ...

Aromatization of differently substituted 3,4-dihydropyrimidinone derivatives [PDF]
Biginellijevom reakcijom, pripravljeni su razliĉito supstituirani derivati 3,4-dihidropirimidinona. Koristeći modelni derivat 124-I-b provedena su opsežna preliminarna ispitivanja u svrhu pronalaska odgovarajućih uvjeta aromatizacije sintetiziranih ...

Different mechanisms of ethane aromatization over Mo/ZSM-5 and Ga/ZSM-5 catalysts
Aromatization of light hydrocarbons can contribute to a secure supply of aromatics for the chemical industry. In this work, we investigate the influence of modification of zeolite ZSM-5 with Ga and Mo on the reaction mechanism underlying the activation ...

ABSTRACT Healthcare derived polystyrene waste represents a growing and under addressed fraction of plastic waste streams due to contamination risks and limited recyclability. This study aims to investigate the valorization of waste polystyrene foam through catalytic and noncatalytic pyrolysis pathways to evaluate product yield distribution and identify

Tunable aromaticity? An unrecognized new aromatic molecule?
Some time ago in 2010, I showed a chemical problem I used to set during university entrance interviews. It was all about pattern recognition and how one can develop a hypothesis based on this.

Potassium hydroxide activation of microalgal biochar for improved adsorption efficiency
Abstract Activated carbon was prepared from Chlorella by carbonization and potassium hydroxide activation, and its structural properties and methylene blue (MB) adsorption performance were evaluated. Raw Chlorella exhibited an adsorption capacity of 287.2 mg g−1, which decreased to 214.8 mg g−1 after carbonization.

Enhanced performance of methane dehydro-aromatization on Mo-based HZSM-5 zeolite pretreated by NH4F
Enhanced performance of methane dehydro-aromatization reaction (MDA) were achieved on a Mo-based HZSM-5 zeolite catalyst in which HZSM-5 were pretreated by a proper amount of NH4F (Mo/HZ(F)). The results of NH3-TPD and Al-27 MAS NMR demonstrated that the
