Conserved structural motifs in PAS, LOV, and CRY proteins regulate circadian rhythms and are therapeutic targets

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Element Configuration Optimization of Hybrid Distributed PA-MIMO Radar System Based on Target Detection

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2023
This paper establishes a hybrid distributed Phased-Array Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (PA-MIMO) radar system model, which combines coherent processing gain and spatial diversity gain to synergistically improve the target detection performance.

Self-reconfiguring solar cell system [PDF]

open access: yes, 1979
A self-reconfiguring solar cell array is disclosed wherein some of the cells are switched so that they can be either in series or in shunt within the array.

Spiral antenna array configurations on spherical surface

open access: yesICECom 2013, 2013
Array antennas on the spherical surface offer a wide range of opportunities in the variation of their radiation patterns through antennas distribution and phase control. Elementary antennas could be distributed on the spherical surfaces in many different ways and in this paper one of them is chosen – spiral configuration with three subtypes ...

PtSi IR Array in Mosaic Configuration [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1995
The rapid progress in the focal plane technology enables us to use large format infrared sensors, such as 256 × 256 InSb/HgCdTe and 1040 × 1040 PtSi arrays. Infrared two-dimensional sensors make possible not only the imaging observations but a deep detection limit.

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Molecular characterisation of human penile carcinoma and generation of paired epithelial primary cell lines

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Generation of two normal and tumour (cancerous) paired human cell lines using an established tissue culture technique and their characterisation is described. Cell lines were characterised at cellular, protein, chromosome and gene expression levels and for HPV status.
