Study on the occurrence characteristics of arsenic in copper matte

open access: yesScientific Reports
The occurrence characteristics of arsenic in matte phase are unclear, which leads to the current treatment technology not being able to remove arsenic from matte phase significantly, thus causing a large amount of arsenic to affect smelting links such as

Chronic Arsenic Toxicity: Statistical Study of the Relationships Between Urinary Arsenic, Selenium and Antimony

open access: yesJournal of Health and Pollution, 2012
Background. The groundwater of Argentina’s Chaco plain presents arsenic levels above those suitable for human consumption. Studies suggest skin disorders among local populations caused by arsenic intake.

Arsonic Acid Functional Polymers Enable Stabilization of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles in Aqueous Solution

open access: yesMacromolecular Rapid Communications, EarlyView.
Arsonic acid containing diblock copolymers are developed to incorporate arsonic acid moieties for surface anchoring to IONPs, along with water soluble PEG blocks to impart colloidal stability in aqueous environments. The resulting polymer‐coated IONPs are evaluated for stability in physiological media and cytocompatibility.

Inflammation, Immunity, and Cardiovascular Diseases

open access: yesMed Research, EarlyView.
Cardiovascular stress signals (e.g., hemodynamic shear, oxidized lipids, and ischemia) act on endothelial and immune cells to activate and amplify inflammation through NF‐κB, the NLRP3 inflammasome, and JAK/STAT signaling, inducing proinflammatory cytokines/chemokines (IL‐6, IL‐1β, TNF‐α, and CCL2) and self‐amplifying circuits; clinically, inflammatory

Evaluation of interaction among arsenic and Brevibacterium sp. strain CS2 and its proteins profiling

open access: yesJournal of Hazardous Materials Letters
In this study, Brevibacterium sp. strain CS2 was used to evaluate the mechanisms of arsenic interaction with the bacterium and its enzymatic and protein profiling under arsenic stress.

Double Asymmetric Spin Echo EPI (dASE‐EPI) Enables fMRI of the Entire Rat Brain at 9.4 T

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Development and evaluation of a double asymmetric spin echo planar imaging (dASE‐EPI) sequence to balance sensitivity to blood oxygenation level‐dependent (BOLD) contrast with mitigation of susceptibility‐induced intravoxel spin dephasing in ultra high‐field rodent brain imaging.
