Hyperbaric oxygenation effects determination in the therapy of chronic occlusive lower extremities arteries disease by the use of perfusion scintigraphy [PDF]
Background/Aim. Hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) is a medical treatment of a patient with 100% oxygen inspiration under the pressure higher than atmospheric in a special unit designed to let the whole patient's body rest in a chamber.

Optimization of Magnetic Milli‐Spinner for Robotic Endovascular Intervention
This work presents the design optimization of a multifunctional magnetic milli‐spinner for high‐speed propulsion and efficient clot debulking. The optimized design achieves an ultrafast swimming velocity of 55 cm/s (≈175 body lengths/s) in saline water, enabling stable upstream swimming against strong physiological flows and establishing magnetic milli‐

ABSTRACT Genome‐wide association studies (GWAS) link the Tropomyosin 1 (Tpm1) locus to quantitative blood trait variation, but related mechanisms are unclear. Tpm1 encodes an actin‐binding protein that regulates actin filament diversity, cell adhesion, signaling, and actomyosin contractility.

This system adopts a biomimetic phospholipid structure, covalently binding iNOS inhibitors, neuroprotective agent PCA and vitamin E derivatives through pH/ROS dual‐responsive bonds, and assembles them with Prussian blue nanozyme to form PBB@AHA. It can efficiently penetrate the blood‐brain barrier and simultaneously release multiple active components ...

Selective Inhibition of Integrin β3 Topology Provides a Safer Antithrombotic Strategy
Current integrin αIIbβ3 inhibitors effectively reduce thrombosis but also increase bleeding risk. During thrombosis, high shear blood flow can directly activate the integrin αIIbβ3 via a distinct topological change in the β3 transmembrane domain, independent of hemostatic platelet signaling.

PREDICTIVE VALUE OF COAGULATION TESTS IN ARTERIAL THROMBOSIS
In five large-scale prospective studies the predictive value of hemostatic parameters indicating the occurrence of arterial thrombotic diseases has been estimated in healthy individuals. All the studies have consistently found a statistically significant
