Specific Enhancement of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) Production in Ischemic Region by Alprostadil — Potential Therapeutic Application in Pharmaceutical Regenerative Medicine

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacological Sciences, 2013
Alprostadil (lipo-PGE1) is a drug delivery system preparation. This preparation is applied to treat refractory skin ulcers and arteriosclerosis obliterans. We investigated the effects of alprostadil by using the earflap ischemic model.

Therapeutic Effects of Interventional Therapy and Conservative Therapy on Lower Extremity Arteriosclerosis Obliterans and Risk Factors for Prognosis

open access: yesArtery Research, 2021
Arteriosclerosis Obliterans (ASO) is an important cause for lower limb amputation. We aimed to compare the effects of interventional and conservative therapies on lower extremity ASO, and to analyze the risk factors for prognosis.

Activation of monocytes and cytokine production in patients with peripheral atherosclerosis obliterans

open access: yesJournal of Inflammation, 2011
Background Arterial peripheral disease is a condition caused by the blocked blood flow resulting from arterial cholesterol deposits within the arms, legs and aorta. Studies have shown that macrophages in atherosclerotic plaque are highly activated, which

TREATMENT OF ARTERIOSCLEROSIS OBLITERANS WITH PYRIDINOLCARBAMATE

open access: yesNihon Naika Gakkai Zasshi, 1967

Quantitative Measurement of Extracellular Vesicle‐Sized Particles in Blood Plasma by Laser Diffraction Without an Extraction Process: A Proof‐of‐Concept Study in Atrial Fibrillation

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 3, June 2026.
Laser diffraction enabled rapid measurement of extracellular vesicle‐sized particles in fasting plasma without an extraction process. In this proof‐of‐concept study, particle concentrations were higher in atrial fibrillation than in controls, suggesting the potential of this simple approach for biomarker assessment.

Current Status and Associated Factors of Discharge Readiness in Lower Extremity Peripheral Artery Disease Patients: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesThe Journal of Clinical Hypertension, Volume 28, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigated the current readiness for hospital discharge (RHD) among patients with lower extremity peripheral arterial disease (PAD) following endovascular revascularization within an enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) model and analyzed its associated factors.
