Dinámica de crecimiento, esporulación y captura de hongos asexuales sobre Meloidogyne sp., in vitro

open access: yesScientia Agropecuaria
Los nematodos formadores de agallas son perjudiciales para los cultivos agrícolas. El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el crecimiento, esporulación y captura de hongos asexuales contra Meloidogyne sp. en condiciones in vitro.

Investigation on the influence of nematophagous fungi as feed additive on nematode infection risk of sheep and goats on pasture [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Gastrointestinal nematodes in small ruminants cause high economic losses. Thus on most farms anthelmintic treatment is required. In response to increasing problems with anthelmintic resistance, biological control, for example the use of nematophagous ...

Phosphate‐solubilizing potential of the nematophagous fungus Arthrobotrys oligospora

open access: yesJournal of Plant Nutrition and Soil Science, 2006
AbstractThe nematophagous fungus Arthrobotrys oligospora was tested in vitro and in vivo for its ability to solubilize rock phosphate. Three types of rock phosphate (RP) from Burkina Faso (KRP), Senegal (TRP), and Mali (TIRP) were used at four concentrations for the in‐vitro experiment. All three types of RP were solubilized by the fungus.

Commodity risk assessment of Corylus avellana plants from the UK

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 22, Issue 1, January 2024.
Abstract The European Commission requested the EFSA Panel on Plant Health to prepare and deliver risk assessments for commodities listed in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/2019 as ‘High risk plants, plant products and other objects’. This Scientific Opinion covers plant health risks posed by plants of Corylus avellana imported from the ...

The complete mitochondrial genomes of the nematode-trapping fungus Arthrobotrys musiformis

open access: yesMitochondrial DNA. Part B. Resources, 2019
We describe the complete mitochondrial genome of the nematode-trapping fungus Arthrobotrys musiformis. In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of A. musiformis was sequenced. This mitogenome is a circular molecule of 179,060 bp in length.

Orbilia beltraniae, a new succulenticolous species from the Canary Islands

open access: yesMycoKeys, 2017
Orbilia beltraniae is a new succulenticolous species from the Canary Islands associated with Euphorbia scrubs. Phylogenetic analyses based on rDNA sequences of ITS and partial LSU were conducted to determine the relationships of the new species to others

Problems in the control of nematode parasites of small ruminants in Malaysia [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Nematode parasitic disease, attributed mainly Haemonchus contortus, is the greatest disease problem of small ruminants in Malaysia. This thesis comprises 6 studies on the emergence of anthelmintic resistance in these parasites, and how control may be ...

Diversity and Evolution of Sensor Histidine Kinases in Eukaryotes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Histidine kinases (HKs) are primary sensor proteins that act in cell signaling pathways generically referred to as "two component systems" (TCSs). TCSs are among the most widely distributed transduction systems used by both prokaryotic and eukaryotic ...

Saprophytic and predacious abilities in Arthrobotrys oligospora in relation to dead and living root-knot nematodes [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
