Mitochondria‐targeted nanomedicine for cancer therapy: Targeting strategies, therapeutic mechanisms, and translational challenges

This review highlights recent advances in mitochondria‐targeted nanomedicine for cancer therapy. It summarizes key targeting strategies and delineates four principal therapeutic mechanisms: oxidative stress–induced mitochondrial dysfunction, disruption of energy metabolism, direct mitochondrial damage, and induction of immunogenic cell death.

Optical Stimulation and Monitoring of the Peripheral Nervous System: Perspectives and Challenges Toward Clinical Translation

Optical neuromodulation with IR light allows stimulation of the PNS without the need for physical contact with the target nerve or without requiring any genetic modification.
