THE STUDY OF LIGHT IN A KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics, 2021
Natural light is essential in the design of a kindergarten class, but it must also be accompanied by an an artificial lighting system. Therefore using DiaLUX Evo, a kindergarten class was modeled with a specific zoning, where different types of light ...

Expanding Chemical Space of Nucleic Acid Nanoparticles for Tunable Antiviral‐Like Immunomodulatory Responses and Potent Adjuvant Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a nucleic acid nanoparticle (NANP) platform designed to be rrecognized by the human innate immune system in a regulated manner. By changing chemical composition while maintaining constant architectural parameters, we identify key determinants of immunorecognition enabling the rational design of NANPs with tunable immune activation profiles

Multilayer Soft Photonic Arrays Inspired by Cephalopod Skin for High‐Density, Independent, and Multimodal Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A vertically stacked, DEA‐driven photonic array inspired by cephalopod skin, featuring highly crystalline colloidal crystal gels with vivid color, low FWHM and scalability is presented. The multilayer design removes lateral pixel interference, achieving near‐100% fill factor with fully independent RGB actuation.

On artificial transits feasibility and SETI

open access: yes, 2005
It is known that the shape of a planet (oblateness, rings, etc.) slightly modifies the shape of the transit light curve. The forthcoming space missions (Corot, Kepler), able to detect the transit of Earth-like planets, could a fortiori also detect the ...
