Weather Forecasting Using Artificial Neural Networks
2020 8th International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and Future Directions) (ICRITO), 2020The weather conditions such as Minimum temperature, Precipitation Rate, wind speed, Maximum temperature, pressure etc. have many important roles in the field of cultivation. In a country like India, having precise weather forecasting technology will grant farmers a chance for better productivity of crops.

Artificial weathering is the exposure of materials to laboratory controlled conditions of light, heat, and moisture. The purpose is to accelerate deterioration by radiation that is more intense than the natural radiation of the sun, and also by applying this radiation over periods longer than those normally received from the sun, especially during ...

Weathering indicator for artificial and natural weathering of wood coatings
European Journal of Wood and Wood Products, 2014The aim of the present study was to find and develop a sensor to evaluate the weathering rates of wood coatings during natural and artificial weathering using a material of known and controlled rate of decomposition. This was achieved by the use of a coating based on poly (vinyl acetate) copolymer binder in combination with Fe2+ as redox catalyst.

Artificial and natural weathering of ABS
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 2010AbstractAcrylonitrile‐butadiene‐styrene (ABS) is a complex copolymer with exceptional importance in technological applications. However, ABS is known to present a high susceptibility to weathering when exposed to UV radiation in the presence of oxygen. In this work, photodegradation of ABS was studied under natural and accelerated conditions.

Weather Forecasting Using Artificial Neural Network
2018 Second International Conference on Inventive Communication and Computational Technologies (ICICCT), 2018Accurate weather forecast plays a vital role in today's world as agricultural and indusrial sectors are principally dependent on weather conditions. It is also used to forecast and warm about natural disasters. Weather forecasting is determination of the right values of weather parameters and furhermore the future weather condition based on these ...

Artificial weathering of stone by heating
Journal of Cultural Heritage, 2013Abstract Since the effectiveness of stone consolidants significantly depends on the weathering level of the stone samples on which they are tested, in this study the suitability of heating stone to high temperature, as an artificial weathering method to induce controllable microstructural, physical and mechanical alterations, was investigated.

Artificial neural networks in weather forecasting
[Proceedings] 1992 RNNS/IEEE Symposium on Neuroinformatics and Neurocomputers, 1992A method of statistical weather forecasting using databases of meteorological information is presented. The authors propose a special technique for constructing the learning set of images which represent the actual data. Forecasting of forthcoming weather events is based on the recognition of known data images using artificial neural networks and ...

Oedometric Tests on Artificially Weathered Carbonatic Soft Rocks
Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, 2004Carbonatic rocks are subject to progressive degradation of their mechanical characteristics due to weathering. This phenomenon may have relevance for engineering since it can induce settlement of foundations, progressive failure of slopes or an increase of pressure on tunnel liners.

Weather Forecasting Using Artificial Neural Network
2019Weather forecasting is a blessing of modern technology. It enables us to understand the nature of the atmosphere. Precise weather forecasting is one of the greatest challenges in the modern world. Unlike traditional methods, modern weather forecasting involves a combination of computer models, observation (by use of balloons and satellites) and ...

Artificial weathering procedures for plastics glazing materials
Construction and Building Materials, 1994Transparent or translucent plastics glazing materials are of light weight, tough, easily formed into complex shapes and transmit light well. This useful combination of properties allows widespread use in construction, for example as rooflights. However, the plastics used are more susceptible to degradation by weathering than the traditionally used ...
