ABSTRACT We updated the stock status of Lutjanus analis, Lutjanus jocu, Lutjanus synagris, and Ocyurus chrysurus harvested along the Brazilian northeastern coast. Seychelles artisanal fisheries statistics for 1994
(1). During 1994 an estimated total of 4427.0 MT of fish was landed on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue by 425 fishing boats, 87.5% of which was landed on Mahe alone. The catch volume has decreased by 498.9 tonnes since 1991 The number of boats operating has decreased by 3 since 1993. (2).
