Ketogenic diet for infantile epileptic spasms
Abstract Approximately half of all cases of Infantile Epileptic Spasms Syndrome (IESS) do not respond to vigabatrin and hormonal therapies. There is no clear consensus as to the second‐line therapy for IESS. Ketogenic diet (KD) has emerged as an effective treatment for certain drug‐resistant epilepsies and in many cases of IESS.

ARX residuals in damage detection
SUMMARY The relationship between residuals obtained from Autoregressive with Exogenous Input (ARX) predictors is examined from the perspective of resolution in damage detection. It is shown that residuals from all ARX structures are filtered versions of those obtained when only inputs are used to compute the predictions, i.e.

Expanding the genotypic spectrum of PCSK1 deficiency: A novel mutation in severe neonatal diarrhea
Abstract Among congenital diarrhea and enteropathies (CODEs), proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 1 (PCSK1) deficiency is a rare monogenic disorder, associated with severe neonatal diarrhea and polyendocrinopathies. We report an 18‐day‐old male neonate, born to consanguineous parents, presenting with persistent watery diarrhea, metabolic ...
