Microbiota Composition Shaped by Seasonal Variation and Environmental Compartments Affects the Abundance of Antimicrobial‐Resistant Bacteria in Indonesian Aquaculture

Antibiotics reshape fish gut microbiota, promoting antimicrobial‐resistant bacteria (ARB) emergence. In the dry season, ARB accumulate in water and dominate a specific niche. Wet‐season hydrological changes introduce new bacteria, disturb native communities and drive shifts in AMB abundance and the emergence of novel resistant taxa across compartments.
