This thesis deals with the Indian master Padmasambhava also known as Guru Rinpoche. In the 8th century he came to Tibet at the invitation of King Thisong Decän. He had the role of demons tamer. Thus he helped to establish Buddhism in this country.

She appeared in India in about the 8th century, and later her worship spread to Tibet and Mongolia, and eventually to China and Japan.
