Mandibular Rotated Pediculated Flap: A Technique to Increase Peri-Implant Mucosa Thickness. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Objectives Peri‐implant soft tissue is considered critical for maintaining peri‐implant health, minimizing esthetic and biological complications, and promoting the long‐term stability of implant‐supported restorations. This article describes a straightforward and minimally invasive technique for augmenting the peri‐implant mucosa thickness (MT)

Skeletal age during hurricane impacts fluctuating asymmetry in Cayo Santiago rhesus macaques
Fluctuating asymmetry (FA), or random deviations from symmetry, can be used as a proxy for developmental instability, and anthropogenic and natural disruptions have been associated with increased levels of FA. In this study, we investigate the effect of demographic variables (age, sex, and decade of birth) and hurricane experience on FA in a model ...

Behavioural responses by a bumble bee to competition with a niche‐constructing congener
Nectar robbing by flower‐biting bumble bees constitutes ecological niche construction if robbing holes persist and intensify nectar competition experienced by non‐biting, bystander flower visitors. In response, bystanders can tolerate robbing, switch plant species or adopt robbing, perhaps partially compensating for exploitative competition associated ...
