Consistency of option prices under bid-ask spreads
2016Given a finite set of European call option prices on a single underlying, we want to know when there is a market model which is consistent with these prices. In contrast to previous studies, we allow models where the underlying trades at a bid-ask spread.

Price elasticity and bid-ask price spreads in the treasury bond market
Journal of Business Research, 1980Abstract Typical analyses of transactions costs in the bond markets explain these costs in terms of yield, term to maturity, coupons, and issue size. However, these analyses do not recognize the price elasticity of bonds to interest rate movements, which provides better measures of market risk and bid-ask price spreads.

Fluconazole: Pfizer asked to lower Africa price.
AIDS treatment news, 2003Pfizer, Inc.'s fluconazole costs almost 15 times as much in South Africa, where it is patent protected, than in Thailand where it is generic. The result is that many Africans die of cryptococcal meningitis and other fungal infections because they cannot obtain the patented drug at Pfizer's price.
