Background: Despite the increasing use of arterial spin labeling (ASL) in patients with epilepsy, little is known about its brain regional distribution pattern, including diaschisis, and its correspondence with FDG-PET. Here, we investigated the regional

Ultrastrong TEMPO‐Oxidized Densified Bamboo via Interface Decoupling and Hierarchical Toughening
This study develops TEMPO‐oxidized densified bamboo that achieves ultrahigh strength and toughness by decoupling rigid hydrogen bonds into reversible van der Waals interactions. TEMPO oxidation reorganizes the cellulose hydrogen‐bonding network, facilitating energy dissipation via reversible interactions, thereby establishing a general strategy to ...

Objective: In the detection of seizure onset zones, arterial spin labeling (ASL) can overcome the limitations of positron emission tomography (PET) with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG), which is invasive, expensive, and radioactive.

Abstract Premise Understanding the habitat requirements of imperiled flora is critical for informing ex situ conservation practices, designing effective reintroduction strategies, and understanding how climate change will impact such species, especially in montane regions with high levels of environmental heterogeneity. In southern Appalachia, USA, the

A stable Algebraic Spin Liquid in a Hubbard model
We show the existence of a stable Algebraic Spin Liquid (ASL) phase in a Hubbard model defined on a honeycomb lattice with spin-dependent hopping that breaks time-reversal symmetry. The effective spin model is the Kitaev model for large on-site repulsion.

Abstract The preauricular sulcus has long been debated as a pelvic feature variably attributed to obstetric stress, ligamentous traction, and broader biomechanical processes. To clarify its determinants, we analyzed 409 adult individuals from three archeological and one early modern skeletal collection from the Iberian Peninsula, integrating graded ...
