Optimizing (Bio) Catalysis with Liquid‐Liquid Phase Separation Systems
This review highlights how LLPS creates membraneless compartments involved in different scenarios in nature. It further explores different examples that focus on the development of synthetic coacervates that enhance catalytic efficiency by concentrating reactants, or by the direct influence of the coacervates building blocks themselves.

We have studied the copper sites in three cryogenic electron‐microscopy structures of particulate methane monooxygenase with quantum refinement. We show that the CuA, CuC and CuD sites are correctly modelled and that the CuB site is mononuclear in all structures, whereas we find no support for copper in the suggested trinuclear active site or two sites

Our research leverages a natural, ecosystem‐scale experiment and cutting‐edge molecular isotope approaches to reveal that coral reef food web structure and energy flow can remain consistent across a gradient of human disturbance. Abstract Habitat degradation and overexploitation are key drivers of biodiversity loss globally.

A multilocus sequence typing approach is proposed to explore Halymorpha halys genetic diversity, taking into consideration both insect nuclear markers and markers from the gut symbiont “Candidatus Pantoa carbekii.” Increased information was revealed regarding the number of distinct holobiont haplotypes in native and invasive populations of the pest ...

The Human Cardiac “Age‐OME”: Age‐Specific Changes in Myocardial Molecular Expression
A multi‐omics analysis was performed to uncover the molecular landscape of human cardiac ageing. We report several insights for the first time: a decrease in proteins composing the structural machinery of the heart; a likely compensatory increase in energetic flux and redox reductive capacity; and an increase in lysosomal activity.
