INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF DRUG DELIVERY TECHNOLOGYAsparagus racemosus, popularly referred to as Shatavari in both Hindi and Sanskrit, is considered one of the greatest important therapeutic plants around. The use of A. racemosus as a galactotgogue and for preventing and treating stomach ulcers and dyspepsia is suggested in Ayurvedic writings.
