The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

Thermomechanics of Picoliter Liquids Encapsulated in Metal Microarchitectures
Picoliter‐scale water is encapsulated inside hollow copper microcylinders through a single‐step localized electrodeposition process. Mechanical testing at room and cryogenic temperatures reveals that incompressible liquid and load‐bearing microscale ice enhance the strength and deformation behavior of the composite structure.

Target-Aspect-Sentiment Joint Detection for Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis
Aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA) aims to detect the targets (which are composed by continuous words), aspects and sentiment polarities in text. Published datasets from SemEval-2015 and SemEval-2016 reveal that a sentiment polarity depends on both the target and the aspect.
