Five dummy templates and two functional monomers were systematically evaluated for the preparation of selective MIPs for aflatoxins. 5,7‐Dimethoxycoumarin and methacrylic acid were found to produce highly selective MIPs, and the adsorbent was characterized by FTIR, TGA, and SEM.

Microscopic and qPCR comparison of fungal growth in residential carpets with different carpet fiber materials, at varying relative humidity levels, and presence of household dust [PDF]
People spend 90% of their time indoors exposed to the microbiome of the built environment. Fungal species are part of this indoor microbiome that have been found to grow on various components of residential homes including house dust, wallpaper, gypsum ...

Rosemary Essential Oil Microemulsion for Fungal Keratitis Treatment
ABSTRACT This study investigated the use of Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) essential oil in a microemulsion (ME) formulation for the treatment of ocular fungal keratitis, a serious infection that can lead to blindness. The ME was characterized in terms of pH, stability, homogeneity, osmolarity, and other physicochemical properties.

ABSTRACT This study isolated a compound with anti‐inflammatory properties from Musa × paradisiaca fruit peels. The methanol extract was partitioned, and the hexane fraction with the best bioactivity was subjected to column chromatography before characterization via Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), UV–visible (UV–VIS) and NMR analysis.

An N‐galactosyl aziridine is found to have μM range mixed inhibition constants (Ki and Ki’) for a fungal β‐galactosidase. Aziridine‐bearing cyclic polyols are established as irreversible covalent inhibitors of glycosyl hydrolases and have been employed as activity‐based probes. In the present study, the stereoselective synthesis of a novel N‐galactosyl
