Comparative Genome Analysis of Aspergillus Oryzae and Aspergillus Flavus
Proceedings of the 2019 8th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Science, 2019Aspergillus oryzae is widely used for the industrial production of traditional fermentation, while Aspergillus flavus can produce strong carcinogenic and teratogenic aflatoxin. However, they are very similar in morphology and difficult to be distinguished from each other. In this paper, the genome sequences of A. oryzae and A.

Preparation and properties of the endotoxins of Aspergillus fumigatus and Aspergillus flavus
Mycopathologia et Mycologia Applicata, 1961Endotoxins have been reported to occur inAspergillus fumigatus andA. flavus, but the data regarding them are incomplete. Optimal cultural conditions and methods of extraction are described here for the production of the toxins of both of these fungi.

Characterization of the velvet regulators in Aspergillus flavus
Journal of Microbiology, 2018Fungal development and secondary metabolism are closely associated via the activities of the fungal NK-kB-type velvet regulators that are highly conserved in filamentous fungi. Here, we investigated the roles of the velvet genes in the aflatoxigenic fungus Aspergillus flavus. Distinct from other Aspergillus species, the A.

Isolation of aminopeptidase from Aspergillus flavus
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Protein Structure, 1976A mixture of aminopeptidase and neutral protease from the Aspergillus flavus mold obtained by chromatography on DEAE-Sephadex was fractionated by chromatography on the hydroxyalkyl methacrylate gel with chemically bonded 1,6 hexamethylene diamine and D-leucine. Aminopeptidase thus obtained was electrophoretically homogeneous.

Endocarditis due to Aspergillus flavus
Mycoses, 1997Summary. Fungal endocarditis has emerged as an important complication of patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery. Our patient had no past history of cardiac surgery, intravenous drug abuse or immunosuppressive therapy. He had received broad‐spectrum antibiotics for varying periods, which might have predisposed him to this infection.

Renal Aspergilloma Due to Aspergillus flavus
Clinical Infectious Diseases, 1995Renal aspergillomas have been reported only rarely. We report a case of Aspergillus flavus colonization of the renal pelvis and upper ureter of a patient with concomitant urinary schistosomiasis. The diagnosis was based on the demonstration of characteristic hyphal elements on direct microscopy and isolation of the fungus in culture.

Corneal infection due to the species Aspergillus flavus is rare and often destructive. This report describes a case of Aspergillus flavus corneal ulcer that failed to respond to amphotericin B, pimaricin, and clotrimazole. The eye subsequently became phthisical.

Aspergillus flavus endocarditis in a child with neuroblastoma
Journal of Infection, 1998We report a case of Aspergillus flavus endocarditis in a 6-year-old boy with stage IV neuroblastoma with no pre-existing cardiac disease. The infection was successfully treated with high-dose liposomal amphotericin (AmBisome) once daily. Recurrence was prevented with itraconazole oral solution once daily as maintenance therapy.
