Two‐photon grayscale lithography (2GL) enables high‐speed and precise 3D printing of thermolyzed silica glass microstructures with optical‐grade surface quality, high quality factors, and mechanical strength utilizing a custom‐made pre‐glass resist based on polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) modified with a high‐sensitivity Norrish type II ...

Aspheric lenses for terahertz imaging
We present novel designs for aspheric lenses used in terahertz (THz) imaging. As different surfaces result in different beam shaping properties and in different losses from reflection and absorption, the resultant imaging resolution (i.e. the focal spot size) depends critically on the design approach.

Combinatorial vapor deposition enables independent tuning of Cs/Pb and Br/Cl in wide‐bandgap perovskites. Automated multimodal mapping of 500+ compositions reveals a high‐energy optical transition that correlates with enhanced photoluminescence, defining a practical Cs/Pb window.

Corneal asphericity and its related factors [PDF]
Background: Proper correction of spherical aberration using intraocular lenses requires precise selection of the sphericity of intraocular lens surfaces based on individual biometric data and corneal asphericity coefficient (Q value). This study aimed to

Voronoi polyhedra probing of hydrated OH radical† [PDF]
We present 3D-characterization of the solvated ˙OH radical in water at 37 °C using the Voronoi polyhedron technique. Assuming that the ˙OH solvation cage is represented by the minimal-volume polyhedron we have calculated statistical distributions of the ...

Defect‐Templated Phase Engineering in Atomically Thin Metals
Graphene defects are transformed from passive imperfections into programmable templates for phase‐selective growth of atomically thin silver. Plasma‐generated boundary defects favor Ag(1), whereas sp3‐rich zero‐layer graphene promotes Ag(2). This defect‐directed intercalation links local graphene chemistry to crystalline phase, electronic structure ...

A Phosphorylation‐Induced Micellization Switch in the Low‐Complexity Domain of TDP‐43
Phosphorylation of TAR DNA‐binding protein's 43 kDa (TDP‐43) low‐complexity domain by casein kinase 1 delta (CK1δ) acts as a molecular switch, redirecting its self‐assembly from macroscopic phase separation toward finite‐sized, spherical block‐copolymer micelles of ∼30 nm.

Efficient Polarization‐Entangled Photon‐Pair Generation by a Fiber‐In‐Line van der Waals Material
Telecom‐wavelength polarization‐entangled photon pairs are generated in a van der Waals‐material‐integrated all‐fiber device via spontaneous parametric down‐conversion. The demonstrated fiberized quantum light source bridges emerging 2D nonlinear materials and practical quantum photonic systems, opening new opportunities for scalable fiber‐based ...
