Herein, a patient‐mounted neuro optical coherence tomography system that integrates a 5 degrees‐of‐freedom skull‐mounted robot (Skullbot) with a 0.6 mm neuroendoscope for targeted, minimally invasive deep brain imaging, is developed. The system offers high‐resolution imaging with precise deployment, demonstrated through successful tumor imaging in a ...

Pre‐Curved Everting Robots With Embedded Steering Intelligence Fabricated by CO2 Laser Welding
Design and experimental demonstration of a laser welded growing robot for anatomically guided navigation. The robot follows an aortic arch phantom entering the branchiocephalic branch through steering by design. The figure shows the physical phantom setup, CAD defined weld geometry and full robot eversion.

Exploiting Ferroelectric and Spintronic Dynamics for Neural Network Computation
Ferroelectric and spintronic devices, relying on the control of polarization and magnetization, offer intrinsically fast, durable, energy‐efficient, and low‐latency building blocks for analog in‐memory computing. The hysteretic dynamics of an order parameter are leveraged to provide nonvolatile, multistate memory and nonlinear switching. Brain‐inspired

Dielectric Elastomer Actuators as Safe and Effective Tools for Mechanostimulation of Human Cells
Replicating physiological forces is crucial for realistic cell models. Dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs) offer a soft alternative, though their high voltages raised toxicity concerns. We demonstrate that DEA stimulation causes no cell damage, cell death or cell‐cycle disruption, while activating mechanosensitive responses.

The phase discontinuity problem—where the cyclic nature of phase angles causes catastrophic errors near the ±π boundary—is a fundamental obstacle in learning‐based reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) optimization. A phase‐aware hybrid CNN–LSTM framework resolves this by decomposing phase predictions into sine–cosine components, mapping circular ...

A digital twin framework is presented for modular soft continuum arms built from fiber‐reinforced pneumatic actuators. Cosserat rod models describe individual actuators, while virtual assemblies are formed through serial and parallel networks, preserving actuator‐level architecture and arm deformation.

Thermally Drawn Bioelectric Catheters: Enabling Proprioceptive Endovascular Navigation
This work introduces a novel bioelectric navigation system eliminates the need for harmful fluoroscopy during endovascular surgeries. A bespoke 16‐electrode catheter is fabricated using rapid thermal drawing and laser micro‐machining. Paired with a real‐time tracking algorithm fusing vascular geometry detection and distance estimation, this technology ...

Abstract Large‐scale land reforms constitute a substantial redistribution of wealth and reallocation of agricultural land, which is a major form of asset and production input in developing countries. While land redistribution (from the rich to the poor) remains a highly controversial issue, extensive evidence on its effect is limited.
