Thermal Effect and Hydrodynamic Perturbation in a Coplanar Nanosecond Pulse Periodic Surface Dielectric Barrier Discharge

open access: yesHigh Voltage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The thermal effect and hydrodynamic perturbation within a high‐frequency pulse‐periodic nanosecond coplanar surface dielectric barrier discharge (ncSDBD), are studied experimentally and numerically. The discharge is initiated in a coplanar open electrodes arrangement with 10 mm inter‐electrode gap for pulse repetition frequencies (PRF) between

Anchoring and Competition: Weakly Solvated Structure of Glymes Enhances Stability in Lithium Metal Batteries Operating under Extreme Conditions

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 137, Issue 40, September 26, 2025.
Originally, lithium ions coordinate with multiple O atoms on diglyme, which would result in a strong binding energy. With the addition of LiNO3, the strong binding energy of NO3− anchors the solvation structure on one side, and by adding a co‐solvent, diglymes with single O atom coordination are generated, which significantly reduces the desolvation ...

Recovery From Anorexia Nervosa: A Concept Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Nursing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim Despite decades of research, we still know surprisingly little about how best to bring about lasting recovery from anorexia nervosa (AN). Furthermore, there is a lack of consensus in the research and treatment communities about what constitutes recovery from AN, or whether “recovery” is even an appropriate term to use in this context.

Badiou and the Reconstruction of the Concept of God

open access: yesModern Theology, EarlyView.
Abstract In this article I first summarize Badiou's and Žižek's critique of the concept of God, which I and other interpreters conceive as a radicalization of the theology of the death of God. I then pose the question of how to formulate a positive conception of God after the death of God that would overcome the limits of negative or apophatic theology.
