Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Geometry‐Dependent Adhesion in Transparent Monodomain Liquid Crystal Elastomers
Liquid Crystal Elastomers (LCEs) are emerging as exciting pressure‐sensitive adhesives. We examine adhesion in chemically identical elastomer films, exploring the influence of geometry (director orientation) and phase (nematic or isotropic). We demonstrate the potential of these aligned films as transparent, tunable, broad‐temperature‐range smart ...

Mapping Nanoscale Buckling in Atomically Thin Cr2Ge2Te6
Atomic‐resolution STEM is used to resolve nanoscale buckling in monolayer Cr2Ge2Te₆. A noise‐robust image analysis reconstructs three‐dimensional lattice distortions from single plan‐view images, revealing pronounced defect‐driven nm‐scale out‐of‐plane buckling.

Comparative Methods for Teaching an Astronomical Topic [PDF]
Astronomy has greatly progressed in this decade. The number of people who are interested in astronomical phenomena is certainly increasing as the number of IAU members increases. These people are divided into several categories, depending on their degrees of interests.

Solution‐processed OLEDs containing discotic liquid‐crystalline MR‐TADF emitters are reported. Supramolecular self‐assembly induces homeotropic columnar alignment, enforcing preferential horizontal orientation of the emitter transition dipole moment in spin‐coated films, which leads to an enhancement in the device light outcoupling efficiency while ...

Probabilistic Auto-Associative Models and Semi-Linear PCA [PDF]
Auto-Associative models cover a large class of methods used in data analysis. In this paper, we describe the generals properties of these models when the projection component is linear and we propose and test an easy to implement Probabilistic Semi ...

Multiscale Decomposition of Astronomical Maps: A Constrained Diffusion Method
Abstract We propose a new, efficient multiscale method to decompose a map (or signal in general) into component maps that contain structures of different sizes. In the widely used wave transform, artifacts containing negative values arise around regions with sharp transitions due to the application of band-limited filters.

Probing Cellular Activity Via Charge‐Sensitive Quantum Nanoprobes
A new quantum sensing modality detects shifts in zero‐field splitting caused by charge rearrangement with diamond nanocrystals in response to cellular activity. These electric‐field‐driven effects provide an alternative to temperature‐based interpretations, enabling real‐time, single‐cell readout of inflammation.
