Magnetically Actuated Drops‐on‐Stilts Microrobots for Transport and Delivery of Hydrophobic Cargo
Iron oxide nanoparticles and oil droplets in external magnetic fields form “drops‐on‐stilts” microrobots that transport hydrophobic cargo. Tunable nanoparticle–droplet interactions generate stilt‐like structures. Field rotation enables walking, obstacle navigation, and collective motion.

A dedicated tool for a full 3D Cn2 investigation
We present in this study a mapping of the optical turbulence (OT) above different astronomical sites. The mesoscale model Meso-NH was used together with the Astro-Meso-Nh package and a set of diagnostic tools allowing for a full 3D investigation of the ...

Bioresorbable electrochemical sensors face instability in biofluids. Although alloys can mitigate rapid in vivo dissolution, Mo–W remains underexplored for sensing. This work engineers Mo–W films with a nanocrystalline oxide coating, improving stability and enabling reliable oxygen and pH sensing for up to 10 days, highlighting their potential for ...

Characterisation of the Optical Turbulence at Siding Spring
Measurements of the optical turbulence profile above Siding Spring Observatory were conducted during 2005 and 2006. This effort was largely motivated by the need to predict the statistical performance of adaptive optics at Siding Spring.

Astronomical Seeing Prediction with Machine Learning
Abstract We investigate the use of supervised machine learning models to predict current atmospheric seeing at the Observatorio del Roque de Los Muchachos, La Palma. The prediction is made from current, local meteorological conditions as measured by an on-site weather station.
