High-accuracy differential image motion monitor measurements for the Thirty Meter Telescope site testing program [PDF]
Differential image motion monitors (DIMMs) have become the industry standard for astronomical site characterization. The calibration of DIMMs is generally considered to be routine, but we show that particular care must be paid to this issue if high-accuracy measurements are to be achieved.

A generalized differential image motion monitor [PDF]
We present the Generalised Differential Image Motion Monitor. It is a compact instrument dedicated to measure 4 parameters of the optical turbulence: seeing, isoplanatic angle, coherence time and wavefront coherence outer scale. GDIMM is based on a small telescope (28cm diameter) equipped with a 3-holes mask at its entrance pupil.

Astronomical Seeing at Maidanak Observatory during the Year 2018
Results of a four-month campaign of astronomical seeing measurements at Maidanak astronomical observatory (MAO) are presented. A differential image motion monitor (DIMM) was used for seeing estimations during the period from August to November 2018.

A new generalized differential image motion monitor [PDF]
We present first results of a new instrument, the Generalized Differential Image Motion Monitor (GDIMM), aiming at monitoring parameters of the optical turbulence (seeing, isoplanatic angle, coherence time and outer scale). GDIMM is based on a small telescope equipped with a 3-holes mask at its entrance pupil.

First day-time seeing observations at the Observatory of University of Zanjan in Iran [PDF]
Recognition of the appropriate locations for ground-based observations of the Sun with high angular resolution depends on the factors such as seeing, meteorological and astronomical parameters.

Multiwavelength differential image motion monitor
Astronomical seeing measurements are usually made at a single wavelength and extrapolated to other wavelengths of interest using scaling laws that assume a specific energy spectrum for the atmospheric turbulence. We describe a variation of the Differential Image Motion Monitor system that provides a measure of the seeing and evaluation of the scaling ...
