Observation of Localized Resonant Phonon Polaritons in Biaxial α‐MoO3 Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biaxial α‐MoO3 nanoparticles exhibit tunable, high‐Q mid‐infrared resonances driven by localized phonon polaritons. Combining a novel synthesis method, hyperspectral near‐field imaging and a unified theoretical analysis, this work reveals eigenmodes and resonance conditions in biaxial particles.

Clinically Inspired Multimodal Treatment Using Induced Neural Stem Cells‐Derived Exosomes Promotes Recovery of Traumatic Brain Injury through Microglial Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study explores the therapeutic potential of iNSC‐Exo via local and systemic delivery in TBI mice. It is found that iNSC‐Exo enhances NRXN signaling through Microglia_Nrg3 and Microglia_Rarb, effectively promoting functional and neurological recovery, suggesting a new therapeutic strategy for TBI. Abstract Traumatic brain injury (TBI) poses serious

Sensitivity of Simulations of Double-detonation Type Ia Supernovae to Integration Methodology

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We study the coupling of hydrodynamics and reactions in simulations of the double-detonation model for Type Ia supernovae. When assessing the convergence of simulations, the focus is usually on spatial resolution; however, the method of coupling the ...

A Degradable Bioinspired Flier with Aerogel‐Based Colorimetric Sensors for Environmental Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biodegradable fliers are developed inspired by Tipuana tipu samaras, integrating cellulose nanocrystal aerogel (CNCa) sensors loaded with natural dyes for pH and ammonia detection. The lightweight, degradable fliers mimic natural morphology and aerodynamics, offering an eco‐friendly, scalable solution for in situ environmental monitoring after passive ...

Cholla-MHD: An Exascale-capable Magnetohydrodynamic Extension to the Cholla Astrophysical Simulation Code

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We present an extension of the massively parallel, GPU native, astrophysical hydrodynamics code Cholla to magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). Cholla solves the ideal MHD equations in their Eulerian form on a static Cartesian mesh utilizing the Van
