Prospects for Identifying Pulsar Candidates in Radio Surveys Using Scintillation
In our previous paper, we developed a technique for identifying pulsar candidates in interferometric radio images using their distinctive scintillation signatures.

On the role of initial and boundary conditions in numerical simulations of accretion flows
We study the effects of initial and boundary conditions, taking two-dimensional hydrodynamical numerical simulations of hot accretion flow as an example.

By performing two-dimensional radiation hydrodynamics simulations with a large computational domain of 5000 times the Schwarzschild radius, we revealed that wide-angle outflow is launched via the radiation force from the super-critical accretion flows ...

Chiral‐Encoded Pt‐Ir Surfaces as Apparent Spin Filter for Enhanced Oxygen Reduction
The Chiral‐Induced Spin Selectivity (CISS) effect is employed in chiral‐encoded mesoporous Platinum‐Iridium (Pt‐Ir) electrocatalysts to enhance the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). A break in spin symmetry leads to a substantial antagonistic difference in activity (>200%) when comparing two enantiomorphs of the same electrode.

An Ultrafast Image Simulation Technique with Spatially Variable Point-spread Functions
Simulated images are essential in algorithm development and instrument testing for optical telescopes. During real observations, images obtained by optical telescopes are affected by spatially variable point-spread functions (PSFs), a crucial effect ...

ABSTRACT The multifunctional integration of chips with high flexibility and scalable manufacturing is crucial for enhancing chip performance, reducing chip size, and simplifying chip design. However, balancing volume, cost, flexibility, and functionality using traditional heterogeneous integration methods is challenging.

Mass and spatial distributions of subhaloes in CDM cosmological simulations
We study subhalo populations surrounding massive dark matter haloes by using three AMIGA simulations each having different mass and spatial resolutions.

In this study, an electrostatically self‐assembled WPU‐MXene@FC flexible fabric constructs a “nest‐like” structure on fibers, building construct MXene multiple loss paths, achieving ultra‐wideband absorption of 25.3–1200 GHz in a thickness of 1.8 mm, while also exhibiting superhydrophobicity, acid and alkali resistance, and bending resistance ...

Electrostatic Modeling of Dust Impact Signals Based on the Expanding Plasma Cloud
Signals generated by dust impacting spacecraft can be detected by electric field instruments. These signals have been simulated by numerous models. However, few models can accurately characterize the expansion of the plasma cloud generated by dust impact.
