The Pointing Error Due To Laser Propagation in Space Plasma for TianQin Gravitational Wave Detection
Abstract TianQin, a space‐borne gravitational wave observatory, is designed to detect gravitational‐wave signals via laser interferometry. As the inhomogeneous space plasma surrounds the inter‐satellite laser links, the propagation of the laser in space plasma can introduce pointing error noise.

Abstract Intense and rapidly changing electrical currents in near‐Earth space produce geomagnetic disturbances (GMDs) with large magnetic field rates of change (dB/dt) and in turn large geomagnetically induced currents (GICs) in nearby power lines and pipelines. This study builds on the work of Engebretson, Yang, et al.

Relationship Between Foreshock Structures and Magnetosheath Jets
Abstract Plasma structures with enhanced dynamic pressure know as jets are frequently observed in the magnetosheath. We examine a possible connection of these jets with structures reported in the foreshock like SLAMS or plasmoids. A statistical study of the relation of the upstream conditions and the occurrence rates of magnetosheath (MSH) jets and ...

Abstract Energetic electron precipitation transfers trapped magnetospheric energy into Jupiter's atmosphere, yet its contribution beyond the main auroral oval has to be fully quantified. This study statistically investigates the atmospheric energy input from electrons in the 30 keV–1.2 MeV range using in situ measurements from the Juno spacecraft ...
