Potentiostatic Electrodeposition of Binder‐Free Ni–W Electrodes for Coupled Energy‐Saving Hydrogen Production and Urea Remediation

open access: yesEcoMat, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2026.
A binder‐free Ni–W nanostructured electrode is fabricated via controlled potentiostatic electrodeposition on carbon paper that aligns with circular economy principles. The electrode enables energy‐efficient hydrogen production coupled with urea remediation, achieving 100 mA cm−2 at 1.77 V and degrading 47% of urea over 30 h.

Synthesis of Core–Shell Te@Se Quantum Dots and Their Broadband Photodetector Performance in Low Concentration Electrolytes

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 12, 18 June 2026.
Te@Se core–shell heterojunction quantum dots (QDs) are synthesized by a two‐step strategy via combining liquid‐phase exfoliation and epitaxial growth. As active materials in photoelectrochemical photodetectors, Te@Se QDs exhibit excellent photo‐response performance in low‐concentration electrolytes and deionized water.

Naturalist Identity and Biodiversity Conservation: The Mediating Role of Obligation

open access: yesPsyCh Journal, Volume 15, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Identity is a fundamental concept in social psychology; however, its application in conservation education has been limited. This study examines the impact of naturalist identity on biodiversity conservation behaviors, focusing on both direct and indirect pathways mediated by a sense of obligation.

Impact of Sb‐Doping on the Reversible Li+ and Na+ Storage in CeO2‐Type Negative Electrodes

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Insertion‐type metal oxide anode materials for lithium‐ion and sodium‐ion batteries commonly offer excellent cycling stability. However, their reversible capacity is eventually constrained by the finite number of available active sites within their crystal structures.

High‐Resolution Microlens‐Assisted Tunable n‐Type Optical Doping in Monolayer MoS2

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 33, 12 June 2026.
The laser‐assisted microlens array processing (LAMP) technique enables sub‐diffraction, localized n‐type optical doping of monolayer MoS2 by utilizing self‐assembled microspheres as microlenses. Controlled sulfur vacancy formation under low‐power laser irradiation allows precise tuning of the carrier concentration.
