Statistical and dynamical decoupling of the IGM from Dark Matter
The mean mass densities of cosmic dark matter is larger than that of baryonic matter by a factor of about 5 in the $\Lambda$CDM universe. Therefore, the gravity on large scales should be dominant by the distribution of dark matter in the universe ...

This study investigates the impact of uncertain parameters on Navier–Stokes equations coupled with heat transfer using the Intrusive Polynomial Chaos Method (IPCM). Sensitivity equations are formulated for key input parameters, such as viscosity and thermal diffusivity, and solved numerically using the Finite Element‐Volume method.

Unveiling New Perspectives on the Hirota–Maccari System With Multiplicative White Noise
ABSTRACT In this study, we delve into the stochastic Hirota–Maccari system, which is subjected to multiplicative noise according to the Itô sense. The stochastic Hirota–Maccari system is significant for its ability to accurately model how stochastic affects nonlinear wave propagation, providing valuable insights into complex systems like fluid dynamics

Electromagnetic induction in non-uniform domains
Kinematic simulations of the induction equation are carried out for different setups suitable for the von-K\'arm\'an-Sodium (VKS) dynamo experiment. Material properties of the flow driving impellers are considered by means of high conducting and high ...

ABSTRACT This study presents large deformation computational methods to simulate lateral vehicular impacts on steel piles in granular soil. Soil‐mounted longitudinal barrier systems rely on energy dissipation in both the piles and the surrounding soil to safely redirect errant vehicles, so dynamic pile‐soil interaction is important for design ...

Transitions in turbulent rotating Rayleigh-B\'enard convection
Numerical simulations of rotating Rayleigh-B\'enard convection are presented for both no slip and free slip boundaries. The goal is to find a criterion distinguishing convective flows dominated by the Coriolis force from those nearly unaffected by ...
