Synergistically manipulating the shape of alkyl-chain and asymmetric side groups of non-fullerene acceptors enables organic solar cells to reach 18.5% efficiency

open access: yesGiant
Side-chain modification and asymmetric design for non-fullerene acceptors (NFAs) have been proven to be effective methods for harvesting high-performance organic solar cells (OSCs).

n‐Type Polymer Radio Frequency Rectifiers Operating at 18.5 GHz

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Combining an n‐doped polymer semiconductor with wafer‐scale asymmetric planar electrodes featuring work function‐engineered contacts yields radio‐frequency diodes and rectifying circuits operating at up to 18.5 GHz. The devices combine scalable manufacturing with an operating frequency previously unattainable by large‐area organic electronics ...

CALCULATION OF THREE-PHASE CIRCUIT WITH ARBITRARY NUMBER OF LOADS [PDF]

open access: yesProblems of the Regional Energetics, 2014
An algorithm for calculating the normal and emergency modes of three-phase circuits with distributed loads is elaborated. We propose to divide the required unknown currents into two groups: load currents are considered as principal, and currents in the ...

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Bioinspired asymmetric structural synergy for soft robotics: closed-loop piezoelectric harvesting and ionic actuation

open access: yesnpj Flexible Electronics
Conventional robotics face fundamental trade-offs among energy-autonomy, actuation efficiency, and manufacturing simplicity. Here, we break this dilemma through a universal material design strategy of “bioinspired asymmetric engineering”. This concept is

Monolithic 3D‐Integrated All‐Solid Ion‐Gated Carbon Nanotube Transistors With Tunable Ionic Conductance for Multi‐Timescale Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐timescale reservoir based on monolithically 3D (M3D)‐integrated CNT solid ion‐gated transistors is demonstrated. Tunable ionic dynamics and pulse‐engineered operation enable linear and symmetric synaptic updates. The M3D‐integrated array achieves robust temporal encoding and accurate classification of moving MNIST sequences, highlighting its ...

Angstrom‐Scale Confined Ion Sieve and Accelerator for Efficient Aqueous Zinc Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An angstrom‐scale confined ion accelerator strategy is proposed for ultra‐stable aqueous Zn anodes. Selective and precise transport of hydrated Zn(H2O)62+, Zn2+ cations, H2O molecules, and SO42− anions is achieved by in‐plane atomic Ti vacancies and angstrom‐scale interlayer free spacing within the Ti0.87O2 interfacial layer, leading to homogeneous Zn ...
