On blow-up and asymptotic behavior of solutions to a nonlinear parabolic equation of second order with nonlinear boundary conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
summary:We obtain some sufficient conditions under which solutions to a nonlinear parabolic equation of second order with nonlinear boundary conditions tend to zero or blow up in a finite time. We also give the asymptotic behavior of solutions which tend

Global Well-Posedness and Determining Nodes of Non-Autonomous Navier–Stokes Equations with Infinite Delay on Bounded Domains

open access: yesMathematics
The asymptotic behavior of solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations is an important tool for studying their long-term behavior. However, when studying the asymptotic behavior of solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations with ...

Distinct Microstructural Characteristic Lengths Defining Notch Fatigue Crack Initiation and Propagation, and Defect Tolerance in Advanced Steels

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic representation of modes of microcrack nucleation, growth and temporary arrestment at different boundaries, with the criteria for crack propagation in three scenarios: (1) large notch, (2) defect/small sharp notch, and (3) long crack. This work revisits and integrates results on the fatigue behavior of advanced bainitic steels (in particular ...

Asymptotic behavior of solutions of forced fractional differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2016
The authors study the boundedness of nonoscillatory solutions of forced fractional differential equations of the form \begin{equation*} ^{C}D_{c}^{\alpha }y(t)=e(t)+f(t,x(t)),\qquad c>1, \quad\alpha \in (0,1), \end{equation*} where $y(t)=\left( a(t)x ...

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Asymptotic Behavior of Solutions to a Vector Integral Equation with Deviating Arguments

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
In this paper, we propose the study of an integral equation, with deviating arguments, of the type y(t)=ω(t)-∫0∞‍f(t,s,y(γ1(s)),…,y(γN(s)))ds,t≥0, in the context of Banach spaces, with the intention of giving sufficient conditions that ensure the ...

On the spatially asymptotic structure of time-periodic solutions to the Navier--Stokes equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The asymptotic behavior of weak time-periodic solutions to the Navier--Stokes equations with a drift term in the three-dimensional whole space is investigated.
