Asymptotic behavior of solutions of nonlinear functional differential equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1994
Using the properties of almost nonexpansive curves introduced by B. Djafari Rouhani, we study the asymptotic behavior of solutions of nonlinear functional differential equation du(t)/dt+Au(t)+G(u)(t)?f(t), where A is a maximal monotone operator in a ...

Tailored Cationic Visible‐Light‐Active Interfaces for Sustainable, Biodegradable Nanofibers With Dual‐Mode Antimicrobial Activity and Robust Electrostatic Particle Capture

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Surface co‐functionalization of biodegradable nanofibers with sodium copper chlorophyllin and quaternary ammonium compounds achieves synergistic antimicrobial activity through combined photodynamic and contact‐killing mechanisms. The cationic surface provides humidity‐resistant electrostatic particle capture while maintaining rapid enzymatic ...

Electrospun PCL Fibers Enhanced With Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for the Adsorption of Pharmaceutical Drugs

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Electrospun polycaprolactone fiber mats embedded with diclofenac‐imprinted polymers were developed to remove persistent pharmaceutical pollutants from water. The materials showed improved adsorption and retention compared to pure polymer mats, with performance influenced by fiber diameter and polymer content.

On the asymptotic behavior of the pantograph equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 1998
Our aim is studing the asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of the equation $\dot x(t) = -a(t)x(t)+a(t)x(pt)$ where ...

Aerosol Jet Printing of Benzocyclobutene as a Thermally Stable, Low‐Loss Dielectric for Multilayer Microwave Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Multilayer aerosol jet printed components with a low‐loss, thermally stable dielectric are demonstrated using benzocyclobutene. Ink formulation and in‐line droplet evaporation control support high‐quality, versatile, and stable printing performance. A specialized measurement for low‐loss materials reveals promising microwave properties, which, combined

Asymptotic and oscillatory behavior of second order neutral quantum equations with maxima

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2009
In this study, the behavior of solutions to certain second order quantum ($q$-difference) equations with maxima are considered. In particular, the asymptotic behavior of non-oscillatory solutions is described, and sufficient conditions for oscillation of

Toward Perception‐Native Electronic Skin: Bio‐Inspired In‐/Near‐Sensor and Neuromorphic Computing for Humanoid Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Dense tactile streams from across the humanoid body converge on collide in a central wiring and data bottleneck. By relocating computation closer to and then into the skin itself, near‐ and in‐sensor architectures, together with neuromorphic computing, chart a path toward perception‐native electronic skin, in which the conversion of stimulus into ...

Liquid Crystal Elastomer Actuator Matrix for Large Area Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A scalable approach is used to manufacture a digitally‐controllable, 2D 5 × 5 actuator matrix. The elements of the matrix are produced by direct ink writing of a liquid crystal elastomer ‘artificial muscle’ on large‐area flexible thin‐film heaters. In optimizing the low‐power actuators, multiple heater designs and substrate materials are investigated ...
