Echoes of Asymptotic Silence in Causal Set Quantum Gravity
We explore the idea of asymptotic silence in causal set theory and find that causal sets approximated by continuum spacetimes exhibit behaviour akin to asymptotic silence.

Assembling a True “Olympic Gel” From over 16 000 Combinatorial DNA Rings
Olympic gels are an elusive class of soft matter, consisting of molecular networks held together purely by mechanically interlocked rings. Their topological structure promises unique properties and functions, but their synthesis has proven notoriously difficult.

On the asymptotic extension dimension [PDF]
We introduce an asymptotic counterpart of the extension dimension defined by Dranishnikov. The main result establishes the relationship between the asymptotic extensional dimension of a proper metric space and the extension dimension of its Higson corona.

On the Dimension of the Pullback Attractors for g-Navier-Stokes Equations
We consider the asymptotic behaviour of nonautonomous 2D g-Navier-Stokes equations in bounded domain Ω. Assuming that f∈Lloc2, which is translation bounded, the existence of the pullback attractor is proved in L2(Ω) and H1(Ω).

Analysis Tools for Interconnected Boolean Networks With Biological Applications
Boolean networks with asynchronous updates are a class of logical models particularly well adapted to describe the dynamics of biological networks with uncertain measures.

Effective de Sitter space, quantum behaviour and large-scale spectral dimension (3+1)
De Sitter space-time, essentially our own universe, is plagued by problems at the quantum level. Here we propose that Lorentzian de Sitter space-time is not fundamental but constitutes only an effective description of a more fundamental quantum gravity ...

Asymptotic variance of the Beurling transform [PDF]
symptotic variance can be used to measure the boundary behaviour of conformal maps and Bloch functions. A formula due to McMullen connects it to the Hausdorff dimension expansion of limit sets for certain dynamical families of conformal maps.

This work reports a direct, biocompatible method to synthesize UiO‐66, enabling one‐step encapsulation of proteins without compromising crystallinity or activity. Using advanced in situ and ex situ techniques, the study reveals that proteins integrate concurrently with MOF growth, forming crystalline protein@UiO‐66 nanoparticles, and provide insight ...

Attractor of reaction-diffusion equations in Banach spaces
In this paper we prove first some abstract theorems on existence of global attractors for differential inclusions generated by w-dissipative operators. Then these results are applied to reaction-diffusion equations in which the Babach space Lp is used as

Efficient inner product arguments and their applications in range proofs
Inner product arguments allow a prover to prove that the inner product of two committed vectors equals a public scalar. They are used to reduce the complexity of many cryptographic primitives, such as range proofs.
