Density of Metric Small Cancellation in Finitely Presented Groups [PDF]
Small cancellation groups form an interesting class with many desirable properties. It is a well-known fact that small cancellation groups are generic; however, all previously known results of their genericity are asymptotic and provide no information ...

Random walks on Cayley graphs of complex reflection groups
Asymptotic properties of random walks on minimal Cayley graphs of complex reflection groups are investigated. The main result of the paper is theorem on fast mixing for random walks on Cayley graphs of complex reflection groups.

Local topological properties of asymptotic cones of groups [PDF]
We define a local analogue to Gromov's loop division property which is use to give a sufficient condition for an asymptotic cone of a complete geodesic metric space to have uncountable fundamental group. As well, this property is used to understand the local topological structure of asymptotic cones of many groups currently in the literature.

Robust analyzes for longitudinal clinical trials with missing and non-normal continuous outcomes
Missing data is unavoidable in longitudinal clinical trials, and outcomes are not always normally distributed. In the presence of outliers or heavy-tailed distributions, the conventional multiple imputation with the mixed model with repeated measures ...

Efficiency and Vulnerability in Networks: A Game Theoretical Approach
Defining measures of network efficiency and vulnerability is a pivotal aspect of modern networking paradigms. We approach this issue from a game theoretical perspective, considering networks where actors have social or economic interests modeled through ...

In this paper, a multivalued self-mapping is defined on the union of a finite number of subsets p≥2 of a metric space which is, in general, of a mixed cyclic and acyclic nature in the sense that it can perform some iterations within each of the subsets ...

Asymptotic Properties of Quasi-Group Codes
This is a manuscript of a chapter prepared for a book. The good codes possess large information length and large minimum distance. A class of codes is said to be asymptotically good if there exists a positive real $ $ such that, for any positive integer $N$ we can find a code in the class with code length greater than $N$, and with both the rate and ...

A ballean is a set X endowed with some family of subsets of X which are called the balls. We postulate the properties of the family of balls in such a way that the balleans with the appropriate morphisms can be considered as the asymptotic counterparts ...

EFFECT OF PROTEIN SHORTAGE AND CONJUGATED LINOLEIC ACID SUPPLEMENTATION ON QUALITY TRAITS AND MODELLING OF COAGULATION, CURD FIRMING AND SYNERESIS OF HOLSTEIN-FRESIAN MILK [PDF]
Aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of diets with optimal (CP 15% DM) or suboptimal (CP 12.3% DM) protein content, supplemented (CLA+) or not (CLA-) with rumen-protected conjugated linoleic acid (rpCLA) on some cheesemaking properties ...
