Optimal testing of equivalence hypotheses
In this paper we consider the construction of optimal tests of equivalence hypotheses. Specifically, assume X_1,..., X_n are i.i.d. with distribution P_{\theta}, with \theta \in R^k. Let g(\theta) be some real-valued parameter of interest.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Adaptive Hydrogels With Spatiotemporal Stiffening Using pH‐Modulating Enzymes
The chemomechanical coupling in an adaptive hydrogel is studied to further the development of adaptive hydrogels. This coupling is achieved by embedding a pH‐modulating enzyme in a pH‐responsive hydrogel. The enzymatic reaction can be triggered locally, which generates a pH‐decreasing wave throughout the system, increasing the crosslinking density and ...

Assembling a True “Olympic Gel” From over 16 000 Combinatorial DNA Rings
Olympic gels are an elusive class of soft matter, consisting of molecular networks held together purely by mechanically interlocked rings. Their topological structure promises unique properties and functions, but their synthesis has proven notoriously difficult.

Performance analysis of zero-forcing coordinated MIMO transmission in interference channels
The performance of the zero-forcing (ZF) coordinated transmit strategy in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) interference channels was investigated. With the goal to derive analytical expression of its performance metric such as the sum rate and the ...

The Statistics of Supersymmetric D-brane Models
We investigate the statistics of the phenomenologically important D-brane sector of string compactifications. In particular for the class of intersecting D-brane models, we generalise methods known from number theory to determine the asymptotic ...

Limited time series with a unit root [PDF]
This paper develops an asymptotic theory for integrated and near-integrated time series whose range is constrained in some ways. Such a framework arises when integration and cointegration analysis are applied to persistent series which are bounded ...

This work reports a direct, biocompatible method to synthesize UiO‐66, enabling one‐step encapsulation of proteins without compromising crystallinity or activity. Using advanced in situ and ex situ techniques, the study reveals that proteins integrate concurrently with MOF growth, forming crystalline protein@UiO‐66 nanoparticles, and provide insight ...
