All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Asymptotic Solutions of Time-Space Fractional Coupled Systems by Residual Power Series Method

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2017
This paper focuses on the asymptotic solutions to time-space fractional coupled systems, where the fractional derivative and integral are described in the sense of Caputo derivative and Riemann-Liouville integral.

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Asymptotic properties of a goodness-of-fit test based on maximum correlations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We study the efficiency properties of the goodness-of-fit test based on the Qn statistic introduced in Fortiana and Grané (2003) using the concepts of Bahadur asymptotic relative efficiency and Bahadur asymptotic optimality.

Reducing variance in univariate smoothing

open access: yes, 2007
A variance reduction technique in nonparametric smoothing is proposed: at each point of estimation, form a linear combination of a preliminary estimator evaluated at nearby points with the coefficients specified so that the asymptotic bias remains ...

Assembling a True “Olympic Gel” From over 16 000 Combinatorial DNA Rings

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Olympic gels are an elusive class of soft matter, consisting of molecular networks held together purely by mechanically interlocked rings. Their topological structure promises unique properties and functions, but their synthesis has proven notoriously difficult.

Asymptotic RZF cooperative beamforming algorithm based on energy efficiency

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2019
A low complexity asymptotic regularized zero forcing cooperative beamforming algorithm based on energy efficiency in heterogeneous massive MIMO system was proposed, aiming at the problem that the current multi-flow regularization zero forcing beamforming ...

BRAVO for many-server QED systems with finite buffers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This paper demonstrates the occurrence of the feature called BRAVO (Balancing Reduces Asymptotic Variance of Output) for the departure process of a finite-buffer Markovian many-server system in the QED (Quality and Efficiency-Driven) heavy-traffic regime.

Direct Synthesis of High‐Valence Protein@UiO‐66 Composites: Linking Crystallization Pathways to Protein Encapsulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports a direct, biocompatible method to synthesize UiO‐66, enabling one‐step encapsulation of proteins without compromising crystallinity or activity. Using advanced in situ and ex situ techniques, the study reveals that proteins integrate concurrently with MOF growth, forming crystalline protein@UiO‐66 nanoparticles, and provide insight ...

A Note on the Asymptotic Efficiency of an Asymptotically Normal Estimator Sequence [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B: Statistical Methodology, 1963
SUMMARY This paper gives a rigorous yet quite elementary proof that under fairly general conditions, the asymptotic efficiency of an asymptotically normal estimator sequence does not exceed unity. Both estimation of a single parameter and simultaneous estimation of several parameters are considered.
