Asymptotically lacunary I2-invariant equivalence [PDF]

open access: possibleJournal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2019
In this paper, the concept of asymptotically lacunary I 2 -invariant equivalence, the concepts of asymptotically lacunary σ 2 -equivalence and the concept of ...

Equivalent Asymptotics: 11063

The American Mathematical Monthly, 2005
Since (x, y, z) is integral, the claim follows. (b) The formulas given for x, y, and z in terms of a, ,8, s, and t give valid points in N(a, b, c) also when s + t is even or gcd(s, t) > 1. (c) Let g(x) = (a/x)2 + (b/(c x))2. Since g is convex on (0, c), the equation g(x) = 1 has zero, one, or two solutions, depending on the minimum of g(x) over (0, c).

Asymptotically Equivalent Singular Perturbation Problems

Studies in Applied Mathematics, 1976
A study is made of a two‐point nonlinear boundary‐value problem with a small parameter multiplying the highest derivative. It is shown that under certain circumstances the asymptotic solution to the problem is expressible in terms of the solution to a linear boundary‐value problem—in which case the two problems are said to be asymptotically equivalent.

Asymptotic Unitary Equivalence in KK-Theory

K-Theory, 2001
We cite from the introduction: ``The versatility of KK-theory is due to some extent to the remarkable fact that all ``reasonable'' equivalence relations on the set of Kasparov-bimodules over a pair of (separable) \(C^*\)-algebras, ranging from homotopy to cobordism, prove to be the same.

Asymptotic equivalence of impulsive systems

Ukrainian Mathematical Journal, 2007
We present sufficient conditions for the asymptotic equivalence of a nonlinear impulsive system and a nonlinear system without pulses. We also consider the case of the asymptotic equivalence of a weakly nonlinear impulsive system and a linear system with pulses.

P-asymptotically Equivalent in Probability

Sarajevo Journal of Mathematics
In this paper we present the following definitions P-asymptotically equivalent probability of multiple $L$ and P-asymptotically probability regular. In addition to these definitions we asked and provide answers for the following questions. (1)If $x\stackrel{Probability}{\approx} y$ then what type of four dimensional matrices transformation will satisfy

Asymptotic equivalence of spectral representations

IEEE Transactions on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 1975
This paper develops necessary and sufficient conditions under which for every sequence of matrices diagonal in an orthonormal basis {u} there exists an asymptotically equivalent sequence in the class of matrices diagonal in some other basis {\upsilon} .
