Bounds for completely monotonic degree of a remainder for an asymptotic expansion of the trigamma function

open access: yesArab Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences, 2021
In the paper, the author presents bounds for completely monotonic degree of a remainder for an asymptotic expansion of the trigamma function. This result partially confirms one in a series of conjectures on completely monotonic degrees of remainders of ...

Asymptotic Expansions for Symmetric Statistics with Degenerate Kernels

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
Asymptotic expansions for U-statistics and V-statistics with degenerate kernels are investigated, respectively, and the remainder term O(n1−p/2), for some p≥4, is shown in both cases.

New AI‐Assisted Approach for Expanding the Solution Space: Application to Lattice Structure Design

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an innovative framework for designing structured materials by ex panding the design space through reparameterization of qualitative variables into continuous structural descriptors. Combined with machine‐learning‐based prediction and multi‐objective optimization, the approach enables the discovery of novel lattice architectures ...

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Power Geometry and Elliptic Expansions of Solutions to the Painlevé Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
We consider an ordinary differential equation (ODE) which can be written as a polynomial in variables and derivatives. Several types of asymptotic expansions of its solutions can be found by algorithms of 2D Power Geometry.

Boundary layer expansions for initial value problems with two complex time variables

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
We study a family of partial differential equations in the complex domain, under the action of a complex perturbation parameter ϵ. We construct inner and outer solutions of the problem and relate them to asymptotic representations via Gevrey asymptotic ...

A High‐Resolution THz‐PCF Sensing Framework: Precise Identification of Food Preservatives Through Refractive Index Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
As presented in the graphical abstract, it depicts an image of a terahertz photonic crystal fiber (THz‐PCF) sensor with a polygonal shape in the core, which is filled with an analyte, and air slots in the cladding. The THz waves will travel through the fiber, and due to increased light‐matter interaction in the sensing region, changes in refractive ...

Benchmarking Coaxial and Angular Optical Emission Spectroscopy With Recommendations for Reliable Compositional In Situ Monitoring During Laser Powder Bed Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Real‐time insight into local chemistry is critical for reliable part quality in additive manufacturing, especially laser powder bed fusion (PBF‑LB/M), where rapid thermal cycles and localized evaporation can undermine part performance. Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) offers non‑intrusive, in situ plume monitoring, but detection geometry ...

Asymptotic Expansions of Fractional Derivatives andTheir Applications

open access: yesMathematics, 2015
We compare the Riemann–Liouville fractional integral (fI) of a function f(z)with the Liouville fI of the same function and show that there are cases in which theasymptotic expansion of the former is obtained from those of the latter and the differenceof ...
