Power Geometry and Elliptic Expansions of Solutions to the Painlevé Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
We consider an ordinary differential equation (ODE) which can be written as a polynomial in variables and derivatives. Several types of asymptotic expansions of its solutions can be found by algorithms of 2D Power Geometry.

Boundary layer expansions for initial value problems with two complex time variables

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
We study a family of partial differential equations in the complex domain, under the action of a complex perturbation parameter ϵ. We construct inner and outer solutions of the problem and relate them to asymptotic representations via Gevrey asymptotic ...

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

The Asymptotic Expansion of a Function Introduced by L.L. Karasheva

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
The asymptotic expansion for x→±∞ of the entire function Fn,σ(x;μ)=∑k=0∞sin(nγk)sinγkxkk!Γ(μ−σk),γk=(k+1)π2n for μ>0 ...

Tailoring Phonon‐Driven Responses in α‐MoO3 through Isotopic Enrichment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The implementation of polaritonic materials into nanoscale devices requires selective tuning of parameters to realize desired spectral or thermal responses. One robust material, α‐MoO3, an orthorhombic crystal boasting three distinct phonon dispersions, provides three polaritonic dispersions of hyperbolic phonon polaritons (HPhPs) across the ...

On a variant of the asymptotic procedure (II: Weakly nonlinear non-autonomous systems)

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Mechanics, 2004
A variant of the asymptotic method is proposed to construct steady solution of weakly nonlinear non-autonomous oscillating systems. The amplitude and the diphase angle of order \(\varepsilon^0\) are used as variables, the uniqueness of the asymptotic ...

Benchmarking Coaxial and Angular Optical Emission Spectroscopy With Recommendations for Reliable Compositional In Situ Monitoring During Laser Powder Bed Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Real‐time insight into local chemistry is critical for reliable part quality in additive manufacturing, especially laser powder bed fusion (PBF‑LB/M), where rapid thermal cycles and localized evaporation can undermine part performance. Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) offers non‑intrusive, in situ plume monitoring, but detection geometry ...

Asymptotic Expansions for Higher-Order Scalar Difference Equations

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2007
We give an asymptotic expansion of the solutions of higher-order Poincaré difference equation in terms of the characteristic solutions of the limiting equation.

Asymptotic Expansions of Fractional Derivatives andTheir Applications

open access: yesMathematics, 2015
We compare the Riemann–Liouville fractional integral (fI) of a function f(z)with the Liouville fI of the same function and show that there are cases in which theasymptotic expansion of the former is obtained from those of the latter and the differenceof ...
