On a variant of the asymptotic procedure (for weakly nonlinear autonomous systems)
As well-known, usually, in the asymptotic (Krylov-Bogoliubov-Mitropolski) method, the full amplitude (a) of the first harmonic is used as variable in asymptotic expansions [1].

Consumer Preferences for Craft Beer: The Interplay of Localness and Advertising Language
ABSTRACT This study explores the influence of the language of the label, origin of production, and origin of brewing ingredients on Croatian consumers' preferences and willingness to pay for organic craft beer. Employing an online survey and a choice experiment among 223 Croatian alcohol consumers, we find that while there's a willingness to pay a ...

ABSTRACT Past growth in the global organic market has been concentrated in high‐income countries, while in middle‐income countries such as Serbia the organic market remains nascent and characterized by a sparse assortment of organic products, high retail premia and limited evidence on consumer preferences and their drivers.

The effect of thin coatings on second harmonic generation
The effect of thin coatings of nonlinear material on second harmonic generation is studied in this paper. Asymptotic expansions of the fields inside a thin nonlinear coating are performed. The convergence of these formal expansions is established.

Do More Open Economies Export Less Diversely in Brazilian Agribusiness?
ABSTRACT This paper asks whether municipalities with a larger export‐to‐revenue ratio display a more concentrated bundle of exported goods in Brazilian agribusiness. Recent advances in export imputation for Brazilian municipalities allow for an analysis of the concentration profile of each municipality and its association with export openness.

The effect of resummation on retarded Green’s function and greybody factor in AdS black holes
We investigate the retarded Green’s function and the greybody factor in asymptotically AdS black holes. Using the connection coefficients of the Heun equation, expressed in terms of the Nekrasov-Shatashvili (NS) free energy of an SU(2) supersymmetric ...

Value of Information of Improved Traceability in Fresh Produce Markets
ABSTRACT Traceability plays an important role in promoting a safe food supply by fostering transparent information exchange along the food supply chain. New technological innovations have the potential to improve traceability outcomes, as greater transparency along the food supply chain can aid in pinpointing precise origins of the contamination ...

Toeplitz Quantization and Asymptotic Expansions: Geometric Construction
For a real symmetric domain G_R/K_R, with complexification G_C/K_C, we introduce the concept of ''star-restriction'' (a real analogue of the ''star-products'' for quantization of Kähler manifolds) and give a geometric construction of the G_R-invariant ...

Abstract Emulsion separation remains a persistent challenge in chemical and process industries due to the metastable nature of dispersed droplets. In gravity separators, the overall separation rate is governed by the formation of a densely packed zone (DPZ) of deforming and coalescing droplets that mediates between the dispersed and continuous phases ...
