On the arithmetic of crossratios and generalised Mertens' formulas

open access: yes, 2013
We develop the relation between hyperbolic geometry and arithmetic equidistribution problems that arises from the action of arithmetic groups on real hyperbolic spaces, especially in dimension up to 5.

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

On the number of cyclic subgroups of a finite group

open access: yes, 2018
Let $G$ be a finite group and let $c(G)$ be the number of cyclic subgroups of $G$. We study the function $\alpha(G) = c(G)/|G|$. We explore its basic properties and we point out a connection with the probability of commutation.

Assembling a True “Olympic Gel” From over 16 000 Combinatorial DNA Rings

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Olympic gels are an elusive class of soft matter, consisting of molecular networks held together purely by mechanically interlocked rings. Their topological structure promises unique properties and functions, but their synthesis has proven notoriously difficult.

Psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (Turkish CAPS-5)

open access: yesPsychiatry and Clinical Psychopharmacology, 2017
Background: In the subsequent revision of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5; American Psychiatric Association, 2013) symptoms of diagnostic criteria for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are defined in four ...

Versatile Magneto‐Dielectric Response of Epitaxial Thin Films of the High Entropy Oxide Perovskite Nd(Cr0.2Mn0.2Fe0.2Co0.2Ni0.2)O3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The magnetic high entropy oxide perovskite Nd(Cr0.2Mn0.2Fe0.2Co0.2Ni0.2)O3 exhibits a substantially large dielectric constant (εr) at room temperature, which shows distinct anionic and cationic contributions in the form of zero and finite bias peaks, respectively, down to its magnetic transition temperature (Tmag).

Addressing process-induced porosity variations in multiscale composite materials analysis using aggregated projection clustering and Halton sequence RVE sampling

open access: yesComposites Part C: Open Access
A challenge associated with the multiscale modeling of highly consolidated composites is the existing contact effects arising from the manufacturing process.

Characterization and Design Framework for Micro‐ and Nanoscale Printed Metal Interconnects in Hybrid Electronic Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work establishes a framework for high‐resolution printed interconnects by coupling e‐jet printing control, multilayer deposition, and sintering optimization. Ink properties and printing speed influence particle stacking, while different sintering atmospheres drive distinct microstructural evolution.

The topological classification of one-dimensional symmetric quantum walks

open access: yes, 2017
We give a topological classification of quantum walks on an infinite 1D lattice, which obey one of the discrete symmetry groups of the tenfold way, have a gap around some eigenvalues at symmetry protected points, and satisfy a mild locality condition. No
