Asymptotic Model for Large-Scale Quasiheliostrophic Flow [PDF]
Starting from the ideal MHD equations written in spherical coordinates, using the regular perturbation method, quasiheliostrophic equations are derived as generalisation of quasigeostrophic models for atmospheric flow. From the fourth order momentum and induction equations, two prognostic equations for the stream function and magnetic flux function are

Ultra‐Thin Soft Pneumatic Actuation for Minimally Invasive Neural Interfacing
Parylene C is a common polymer in bioelectronics, favored for its biological and chemical inertness. However, this makes bonding layers of Parylene C together very challenging. Here it is a laser to selectively weld layers of Parylene C to create high‐pressure fluidic actuation devices.

Asymptotic regime for hadron-hadron diffractive collisions at ultrahigh energies
Using the pre-LHC and LHC data for $\pi p$ and $pp$ diffractive collisions we study the ultrahigh energy asymptotic regime in the framework of the black disk picture. The black disk picture, being constrained by the s-channel unitarity condition and the $

Quantum Electrometry of Non‐Volatile Space Charges in Diamond
Charges are generated when nitrogen vacancy qubits in diamond are illuminated by light. Transport and trapping in an electric field leads to the formation of large, stable space charge patterns that dynamically screen applied electric fields, impacting electric field sensing and photoelectric detection.

Spacelike surface families interpolating common asymptotic curves in Minkowski 3-space
In this paper, we propose a method for constructing families of spacelike surfaces in Minkowski 3-spaceE13 that share Bertrand curves as asymptotic curves.

Asymptotic waves from the point of view of double-scale method
In this paper the asymptotic waves (smooth solutions of nonlinear hyperbolic partial differential equations (PDEs)) are introduced from the point of view of double scale method, giving a physical interpretation of the new (fast) variable, related to the ...

Modeling HF Radio Wave Propagation in 3D Non-Uniform Ionosphere With Smooth Perturbation Method
An asymptotic solution of ray equations is used for numerical simulation of the electromagnetic wave propagation in a smoothly non-uniform Earth-ionosphere duct.

Asymptotics from Scaling for Nonlinear Wave Equations [PDF]
We present a scaling technique which transforms the evolution problem for a nonlinear wave equation with small initial data to a linear wave equation with a distributional source. The exact solution of the latter uniformly approximates the late-time behavior of solutions of the nonlinear problem in timelike and null directions.

Formation Control of Multi‐Agent System with Local Interaction and Artificial Potential Field
This article proposes a local interaction‐based formation control method for Multi‐Agent system, integrating consensus and leader‐follower strategies with a stress response mechanism—artificial potential field to reduce communication overhead and enable obstacle avoidance. Experimental results on triangular, square, and hexagonal formations confirm its

Asymptotic symmetries and geometry on the boundary in the first order formalism
Proper understanding of the geometry on the boundary of a spacetime is a critical step on the way to extending holography to spaces with non-AdS asymptotics.
