An Information Criterion for Auxiliary Variable Selection in Incomplete Data Analysis
Statistical inference is considered for variables of interest, called primary variables, when auxiliary variables are observed along with the primary variables.

Deep Learning‐Assisted Design of Mechanical Metamaterials
This review examines the role of data‐driven deep learning methodologies in advancing mechanical metamaterial design, focusing on the specific methodologies, applications, challenges, and outlooks of this field. Mechanical metamaterials (MMs), characterized by their extraordinary mechanical behaviors derived from architected microstructures, have ...

Exact FGLS Asymptotics for MA Errors [PDF]
We show under very parsimonious assumptions that FGLS and GLS are asymptotically equivalent when errors follow an invertible MA(1) process. Although the linear regression model with MA errors has been studied for many years, asymptotic equivalence of ...

Regularity characterization of asymptotically probability equivalent sequences
AbstractThe notion of asymptotically equivalent sequences was presented by Pobyvanets in 1980. Using this definition, he presented Silverman–Toeplitz-type matrix conditions that ensure that a summability matrix preserves asymptotic equivalency. This work begins with an extension of Pobyvanets’ definition of convergence in probability.

A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...

High-energy fixed-angle meson scattering and the constituent counting rule in holographic QCD
We investigate the high-energy fixed-angle scattering of pions and ρ-mesons in a bottom-up holographic QCD model. To this end, we generalise the approach of Polchinski and Strassler [1] to write an ansatz for meson scattering amplitudes based on ...

Testing interval hypotheses is of huge relevance in the biomedical and cognitive sciences; for example, in clinical trials. Frequentist approaches include the proposal of equivalence tests, which have been used to study if there is a predetermined ...

On uniform asymptotic $h$-stability for linear non autonomous systems.
A classical result in the theory of stability of nonautonomous linear systems is that the uniform exponential decay of its corresponding transition matrix is equivalent to the uniform asymptotic stability of the trivial solution.
